Punjab Govt Ends Outsourcing System Forever! 65,000 ਕੱਚੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਪੱਕੇ ! | Bhagwant maan Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has made a historic announcement for government employees in Punjab. During the latest Cabinet meeting, the Punjab Government approved the regularization of more than 65,000 outsourced and temporary employees while also deciding to permanently end the contractor system in government departments. From now on, there will be no middlemen or private contractors between employees and the government. Every employee will have direct employment under the Punjab Government, and salaries will be transferred directly into their bank accounts. In another major relief for workers involved in risky duties such as firemen, sewer workers, and linemen, the government has reduced the required service period for regularization from 5 years to just 3 years. The Cabinet has also formed a special sub-committee to resolve pending issues related to employees’ and pensioners’ dues, including Dearness Allowance (DA). Along with this, approval has been given to establish 7 new Special Courts in Punjab for the speedy disposal of corruption-related cases.
