Kuldeep Dhaliwal Fires Back at Ravneet Bittu | ਕਿਹਾ ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਤੇ ਬੋਲੋ, Punjab ਨੂੰ Chandigarh ਦਵਾਉ AAP Punjab chief spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal addressed a press conference and described the recently held Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council, and Nagar Panchayat elections in Punjab as “99% peaceful.” He stated that the people of Punjab exercised their democratic right in a calm and responsible manner, and the Aam Aadmi Party expressed gratitude to all voters for participating peacefully in the elections. Dhaliwal said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government made proper arrangements to ensure smooth and fair elections across the state. He added that any minor incidents reported during the polling process were negligible and did not affect the overall peaceful atmosphere. During the press conference, Dhaliwal also launched a strong attack on Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, alleging misconduct with a woman police officer and a sub-inspector in Sangrur. He said that such language and behavior from a Union Minister is highly condemnable and unacceptable to the people of Punjab. He further accused the BJP of trying to spread fear and intimidation in Punjab politics, but asserted that Punjabis have always stood firmly against oppression throughout history. According to Dhaliwal, the people of Punjab want issue-based politics rather than threats and unnecessary political rhetoric. The AAP leader also criticized the Central Government over the rising prices of petrol, diesel, and CNG. He warned that the increase in diesel prices ahead of the paddy season would put an additional financial burden on farmers and the middle class. Challenging BJP leaders, Dhaliwal urged them to visit Punjab’s villages and answer the public regarding the continuous rise in fuel prices. He concluded by saying that the Aam Aadmi Party believes in politics based on public issues and development, while opposition parties are trying to divert people’s attention. Dhaliwal expressed confidence that the people of Punjab would once again give a strong and clear mandate in 2027.
