During the visit, the Prime Minister dedicates the newly redeveloped Jalandhar Cantonment Railway Station to the public. Developed at a cost of approximately ₹125 crore under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, the station has been transformed into a modern, world-class facility with upgraded passenger amenities. PM Modi also unveils rail and road infrastructure projects worth ₹5,470 crore for Punjab. These projects are expected to improve transportation, regional connectivity and economic development across the state.
