Guru Nanak Dev Ji during his preaching tours, came five times to this place. Guru Angad Dev Ji sat on the throne & came from Kartarpur, Pakistan to Khadur Sahib on the orders of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji came and stayed here for thirteen years Here only Guru Angad Dev Ji worked on the improvement of Gurmukhi Lippi & wrote the first Punjabi book.
