When the villagers suffered, Guru Nanak Dev Ji blessed them by bringing water from beneath a rock. Angered, Wali Qandhari rolled a huge boulder down the mountain — but Guru Nanak Dev Ji stopped it effortlessly with His hand. This miracle continues to inspire millions, and the sacred rock with the hand-mark is preserved inside the gurdwara.
