Today we explore Johnston Canyon in Banff National Park during a beautiful winter hike to see the famous frozen waterfalls. In this video we explore the famous Johnston Canyon during winter to see its incredible frozen waterfalls. This is one of the most popular winter hikes in Banff National Park, and the canyon was very busy when we visited. The Lower Falls area was extremely crowded, so we decided to continue hiking further to the Upper Falls, where the scenery became even more beautiful. Along the trail we saw massive frozen icicles hanging from the canyon walls, creating a magical winter landscape. The trail was a bit slippery, but the experience was amazing. One of the most fascinating sights was the clear water flowing underneath the frozen ice, showing the power of nature even in freezing temperatures. We also saw ice climbers scaling the frozen waterfalls, which was incredible to watch. Johnston Canyon in winter truly feels like a natural ice kingdom. While visiting Banff National Park, we explored the famous Johnston Canyon winter trail. Many travellers also visit Lake Louise and Moraine Lake when exploring this area.
