We pass remote points like Bell II, Iskut, Dease Lake, Jade City, and reach Watson Lake, Yukon, the first major town beyond the BC border. This land was once home to the Cassiar Gold Rush, and is still the territory of the Tahltan and Kaska Dena Nations — people who live off-grid, close to tradition, and far from convenience.
