With Waheguru’s grace, today dated 17.04.2017, Manukhta di Sewa society got chance to serve a sick, helpless Gursikh old aged Babaji at Tehsil Payal District Ludhiana. During conversation with Babaji, we came to know that Babaji was a freedom fighter and had participated in freedom fights along with Amar Shaeed Bhagat Singh. they tried to save Saheed Bhagat Singh by digging mines under the jail at Lahor but Saheed Bhagat Singh was hanged a day before the fixed day, so he ran away and settled at West Bengal. His duty was to paint Military Tanks. During 1984 emergency in Punjab, when he came to know that how Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar was disregarded, he drove an unpainted Tank toward Punjab for revenge, but was not successful as he was caught on the way. He also got a plot at Dugri Flats, allotted to 1984 riots victims, but that plot is in possession of some other person and District Administration did not helper him in this regards.
