Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use. ਥੋਮਸ ਅਲਵਾ ਐਡੀਸਨ (11 ਫਰਵਰੀ 1847-18 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 1931) ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਹੀਓ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ’ਚ ਹੋਇਆ। ਨੈਨਸੀ ਐਡੀਸਨ ਤੇ ਸੈਮੂਅਲ ਐਡੀਸਨ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ਬੱਚਾ ਸੀ।ਐਡੀਸਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਪਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਪੀਲਾ ਬੁਖਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਨਫੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਈ। ਘੱਟ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਕਰਕੇ ਐਡੀਸਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੇਰ ਬਾਅਦ ਬੋਲਣ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ।
