Dheeraj Kumar, who has played numerous praiseworthy roles in Punjabi movies, will be seen as a lead actor for the first time in Amaanat. Neha Pawar, who previously appeared in Jatinder Singh Jeetu’s ‘Kirdar-e-Sardar’ and Rana Ranbir’s ‘Asees’, will play the lead role opposite Kumar. Amaanat will mark the directorial debut of Royal Singh in the Punjabi film industry. Royal has assisted renowned Bollywood director Guddu Dhanoa in Marathi movie ‘Gulabi’ (2014).
