In a major press conference held in Chandigarh, Bhai Baldev Singh Wadala raised serious questions regarding the opposition to the Jagat Jyot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar (Amendment) Act 2026. Bhai Wadala described the new sacrilege law as a historic and powerful step against acts of Beadbi (sacrilege) of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. He stated that the legislation has created fear among those involved in sacrilege cases and praised Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for taking action on the long-pending issue of the 328 missing Saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
