Lake O’Hara is a paradise, jewel blue lakes and excellent trails for nature lovers and explorers. The famous Alpine circuit around Lake O’Hara and other lakes is around 11 kms and took around 5 hours to complete. The elevation gain is 887 meters. You can see glaciers and many big and small lakes along the trail. We need to walk from the parking lot to the trail head and back, with is 11 km oneway. So total distance we covered is around 33 kms. You can take a shuttle bus to the trail head, but getting reservation on the bus is hard, as it get booked in very fast when they open bookings. BUT THE VIEWS ARE WORTH THE WALK.
