The SGPC General House has passed key resolutions and announced a Panthic gathering on 5 July at Sri Akal Takht Sahib's Foundation Day. Addressing the media, SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said the committee remains united in protecting the authority of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. On the issue of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the SGPC announced that a delegation will meet the Punjab DGP regarding the Chief Minister's controversial statements and alleged interference in religious matters. SGPC members and preachers will also launch awareness campaigns across Punjab to educate the Sikh Sangat about the directives of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
