During this visit, they interacted with the officials, learned about the water situation, and reviewed the preparations regarding possible floods in the adjoining villages. Ferozepur DC Deepshikha said at present, the situation in their area was normal and there was no threat of floods. She, along with the officials of the departments concerned, is visiting the villages situated along the Satluj river and monitoring the situation. Deepshikha appealed to the residents of the adjoining villages not to believe in rumours and panic. She said for information regarding the floods, control room numbers established at the district and tehsil levels can be contacted.
