Gurdwara Kalgidhar Sahib History : Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji is remembered as an immortal monument. Bilaspur was the capital of the state of Kahliur, situated on the left bank of the river Sutlej. King Bhima Chand of Bilaspur and his sister-in-law were devout pilgrims of the Guru's house. Bhima Chand brought Guru Ji to the palaces with respect and served him whole-heartedly. At the time of Kanwar Ajmer's marriage, Bhima Chand's gurudwara had come to attack her several times but she had to face defeat every time. In memory of the arrival of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the loving gurusikhs constructed a memorial gurdwara. Some scholars believe that Guru Hargobind Sahib and Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib also found Mubarak Charan at this place.
