On day 10 of our drive to the Arctic Ocean we started from Boya lake Campground in Northern BC and went to Jade store on Cassier highway. Jade City, named for the extensive jade deposits found nearby, offers a glimpse into mining this lovely stone. With a population of approximately 20 people, the family-run jade mining operation is a stop of particular interest on the Stewart Cassiar Highway. We drove along highway and make stop at Kinaskan Lake and Mezidian lake. Then we went to Stewart BC for the night and stay at Ripple creek Inn.
